The Freshman Academy for Diverse Students is an interactive learning experience that promotes the retention of all students, with particular focus on minority students. It is designed to provide first year students with the information, encouragement and direction they need in order to navigate college life and reach their academic, personal, and professional goals at Eastern Kentucky University. The Academy connects first-year students with their fellow classmates, and introduces them to EKU faculty, staff and student leaders who will provide on-going support throughout their college career at EKU and beyond.Learn more about us at http://freshmanacademy.eku.edu/insidelook/about-us and thank you for visiting!
The Latino Success Center is the place for incoming students and current students that provides necessary services to successfully integrate into college life. In conjunction with the Student Outreach and Transition Office, the center provides scholarship information, interpreting services, and a strong sense of inclusiveness for all our students. Our mission is to help the students graduate and to make them feel part of the EKU community.
LGBT+ Student Services, sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of Eastern Kentucky University students who self-identify as a sexual and/or gender minority.
